Unique by its concept and content, the “Green Course 2021” conference is based on best practices from the global sailing competition “The Ocean Race”, designed to raise society‘s attention and increase awareness in sustainability as well as objectives set by the “Green Deal“.
This conference was powered from Klaipėda, Lithuania, as a platform for dialogue among society, government, the scientific and business communities in quest for sustainable solutions. Amongst keynotes – EU Commissioner V. Sinkevičius, Prime Minister I. Šimonytė, President of the Union of Industrialists V. Janulevičius and many others.
LBS is a “port“ uniting all Lithuanian sailing community. Together with A. Savickas we powered an interactive workshop with LBS representatives to establish a long-term course for the Union while strengthening the status of Lithuania as a maritime nation. The project was delivered in two stages: interactive workshop and delivery of findings in a unified presentation, designed for a national audience.
Interactive workshop with new members of the LKT in order to discuss, agree and establish the new vision and direction for the Council during the upcoming tenure. The project was delivered in three stages: individual interviews and analysis of information available, interactive workshop applying provocative methods, summarizing of findings and their presentation to a national audience.
This idea was born in 2009, when the “Millennium Odyssey“ invited all Lithuanians around the world to sing their national anthem together in unity. Since then, this unique initiative has become a live contemporary tradition making the 6 July 2019 not only the Coronation Day, but the National Anthem‘s day as well. We are grateful for having been granted the right to offer national communication concepts for this specific national event during the last three years and hope to continue doing so.
